Shanghai Releases Talent Policy

In order to further implement Shanghai's talent policy, further develop the main role of enterprises in the market, and create a good environment for talent gathering and development, the Shanghai Enterprise HR Alliance was established in Pudong International Talent Port. China Corporate Social Security White Paper 2019

Guangdong New Talents Policy

Guangdong's goal is to conduct more than 2.6 million subsidized vocational skills training in the province between 2019 and 2021, of which more than 700,000 in 2019. Enterprises that are engaged in the R&D of core projects in key areas such as integrated circuits, artificial intelligence, biomedicine, and civil aviation in the Shanghai Lingang new area shall be subject to a corporate income tax rate of 15% within 5 years from the date of establishment.

Extended Maternity Leave to Avoid Brain Drain in Brazil

According to a survey released by Aon Hewitt, a world-renowned human resources management consulting firm, one-fifth (21%) of the 640 Brazilian companies surveyed allowed male employees to extend paternity leave. Nearly one-third (29%) allowed female employees to extend maternity leave.
